Dialogue with everyday life
Decorator Crab: Gallery “Glasses for future cats”
Yudai Iikawa

9/27 (Friday) - 10/6 (Sunday)
Symbol Promenade Park (Stone and Light Square)

There is also an AR experience of the pink cat Kobayashi, created by the gap between adorable visuals and presence!

We will feature art works by Yudai Iikawa, a popular artist known for his humorous and insightful works, including his masterpiece ``Decorator Crab - Mr. Kobayashi the Pink Cat''. In addition to the impactful visuals that make you want to take a photo, there is also the sense of strangeness and surprise of a big cat peering into the entire city, which you can never capture in its entirety, and the fact that viewers can take the artwork out of the exhibition space themselves and put it on another display. Through the extraordinary experience we bring to the venue, we create a "dialogue with everyday life."

Decorator Crab: Gallery “Glasses for future cats”

``Decorator Crab'' has been active since 2007 without having a specific exhibition location. In the four galleries set up in the "Stone and Light Square" to introduce the activities of the Decorator Crab, there will be exhibits such as ``Berry Heavy Bag'' and a plan drawing of ``Pink Cat Kobayashi'' that they hope to realize in the future. . During the exhibition period, we will also carry out a ``New Spectator'' event in which ``Berry Heavy Bags'' are transported from the gallery to another exhibition venue.

You can purchase Yudai Iikawa's works exhibited at ARTBAY from the following site.
