Exploring Cutting-Edge XR Art Through Dialogue with the City
This interactive XR art experience allows visitors to explore six different spots around the city, enjoying AR art while imagining the entire city as a massive experimental apparatus. The fusion of art and technology offers a unique XR experience.
Flower Plaza The XR BALL circulates through the monorail and the entire plaza, offering an AR experience that makes you feel the wind of the Rinkai Fukutoshin area. At the Flower Plaza, Noboru Tsubaki's "Round Horizon" is on display, creating a harmonious interaction with real art.
Stone and Light Plaza The dynamic XR BALL bounces through the city, rushing toward participants in an immersive experience.
TOKYO DREAM PARK construction site The XR BALLs stretch across the entire 300-meter span of Dream Bridge, soaring into the sky.
Yume-no-Ohashi A rainbow emerges from the circulation balls that cross Tokyo Bay, stretching across Dream Bridge. This area is where the Rainbow Bridge and highways intersect, giving a sense of Tokyo's logistics. The XR BALLs race across the rainbow.
Dream Plaza

About Cells in Dialogue with the Landscape
At Dream Plaza, experience an immersive adventure inside cells that respond to the landscape! A limited-time, new sensory art installation that merges XR and tactile sensations will also be on display.
Get an immersive experience inside a giant cell-like ball that responds to the landscape. Three XR BALLs are born from a physical ball, where virtuality and reality intersect.
In particular, the artwork that combines XR and tactile sensations, developed by ExMetaClub in collaboration with Keio University's Graduate School of Media Design, invites you to a new physical sensation in which events in virtual space can be felt as tactile sensations in real space.
Experimental Research The Echoes of Tactile Sensation Celestial Bodies Special Event September 27 (Fri) - September 29 (Sun), October 5 (Sat) - October 6 (Sun)
By experiencing AR art through tactile devices, a sense of "echoes" is created, as if your body’s cells are remembering the sensation. How long will these echoes of virtual reality linger in your body once you’ve physically touched it?
"Circulation Balls XR" by ExMetaClub will also be available, where you can experience the latest XR art while touring around "Flower Plaza," "Stone and Light Square," "Yume-no-Ohashi," and "Dream Plaza." When you view the scenery of Tokyo Waterfront City through your smartphone using the XR app "STYLY," you will see the city transform into a giant experimental device, and a mysterious scene unfolds where a large ball that shouldn't exist is dynamically running around. . By taking a walk while chasing this ball, we provide an opportunity to discover new charms of the town and the relationship between people and the town. In the project's main area, ``Dream Plaza,'' you can have an immersive experience in which you step inside a giant cell-like ball that responds to the landscape. Particular attention will be paid to the experimental artwork that combines XR and haptics, developed by ExMetaClub in collaboration with Keio University Graduate School of Media Studies. Furthermore, next-generation artist IEEIR's AR art will be displayed near The National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation(Miraikan).
