"Ballet #01" is a work in which the figure of a person dancing ballet emerges by projecting lines of light onto a rotating three-dimensional object. This work, which focuses on the emotions inherent in the intentionally constructed movements, has been reconstructed as a video work in this exhibition.
"Heading #01" uses the act of walking, which is a fundamental movement for humans, as a motif, and focuses on the inner meaning and image of that movement. This work will also serve as the prototype for “Heading” exhibited at ARTBAY TOKYO 2022.
In another work, the artist photographed people at intersections in various countries, and the images appear as they alternately walk, attempting to capture the intersection of individual existence and direction.
